# Participation and Student Repsonsibility for Learning

This site contains numerous examples and information that is available primarily in-class. Material presented in this site is subject to change during the course of the term. Therefore, it is imperitive that you, as a student, attend classes and take notes from information given in class. While material is also provided in written form as posted notes, do not treat posted notes as being extensive or covering all the material delivered in class. You are expected to follow the guidance and use the information provided by your instructor in class.

# Software

To complete this course, it is recommended that you install the following software on your personal computer to work outside of the school computer labs (assuming a Windows 10 OS as minimum):

  • Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition, with the following extensions:
    Note: After installing these extensions, be sure that they are up-to-date. Your instructor will give you information on how to do this in class.
  • SQL Server 2017, Developer Edition
  • GitHub Desktop
  • LinqPad
  • Draw.io
  • Azure SDK (optional)

# Common Lab Configuration

Labs are configured to make use of the following development software for this course:

  • Visual Studio 2019
  • SQL Server 2017, Developer Edition
  • LinqPad
